Coastal Cheddar is matured at the Ford Farm Dairy located on the world heritage Jurassic Coast line in the salty sea air.
Coastal has been developed to appeal to the consumer demand for rich, rugged and mature cheddars. Aged for a minimum of fifteen months on the Dorset Coast, Coastal is often characterised with a distinctive crunch – a result of the calcium lactate crystals which form naturally in the cheese as it matures.
